Innovations in Woodworking Industry and Engineering Design (ISSN 1314-6149; e-ISSN 2367-6663) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access scientific journal published twice a year (semiannually) by the Faculty of Forest Industry, University of Forestry, Sofia, Bulgaria. The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, short communications, and technical papers in woodworking industry, wood science and technology, wood-based materials, furniture engineering, product and interior design, biocomposites, sustainability, educational innovation, ecology, and circular bioeconomy in the forest-based sector. The journal is indexed with and included in CABI. 

Innovations in Woodworking Industry and Engineering Design is now part of the global Crossref scholarly infrastructure. The journal supports article DOI registration via Crossref, enhancing discoverability, citation linking, and long-term scholarly visibility.
